Cindi

Cindy is a native Texan who from an early age has always been the “artistic type”, with an early focus on design, portraits and mixed media collage. She consistently won numerous awards for her works throughout her school years as well as an art scholarship in 1988.

After personally renovating the homes she has lived in, Cindy gained lots of hands on experience with different textures, faux finishes, and construction grade materials which she now incorporates into her artwork.

She loves to take ordinary things to the next level using these things as well as creative ideas, color, dimension, and inspirational prose. She is especially attracted to found objects; not wholly for what they are, but for what they might become. It is in this reinvention and reinterpretation that she incorporates these parts by “upcycling” them into finished pieces.
In 2006, Cindy was blessed with her greatest inspiration – her newborn son. She looked for artwork that she could keep hanging on the nursery wall well past his toddler years. Timeless, heirloom quality artwork that would never go out of style. Being a sentimental person, she hated packing away his precious, tiny little clothing as he outgrew it, so she developed a line of artwork that celebrates all things inspirational and can also preserve a baby’s (&/or small size) clothing. Needless to say, his birth also brought forth the emergence of Timeless Treasures Studio. Now Cindy’s works are finally made available to the public so you too can preserve inspirational items/baby clothing into your own work of art.
